Collection of Information – Registration
Our registration process collects a limited amount of personally identifiable information, including name, email address, phone number, employer and job title. Persons who wish to provide additional information may do so, but this is not required to register.

Collection of Information – E-Commerce
The E-commerce (shopping cart) function on the PCI Knowledge Base website is provided by a third party, and the PCI Knowledge Base does not collect or retain credit card data or other financial information.

Collection of Information – Knowledge Base
The PCI Knowledge Base itself is built entirely from 100% anonymous interviews. Each unit of knowledge or item in the Knowledge Base is carefully reviewed before it is uploaded to ensure that there is nothing that could be used to identify the party providing the information. When necessary, key details are disguised to further obfuscate the identity of the interviewee. Only aggregate data such as industry, merchant level, job classification are used for demographic analysis. The original interview transcripts are coded and are NOT stored on an internet-accessible server, and only one person has the key to decode this data.

Distribution of Information
The PCI Knowledge Base does NOT share its membership list with our sponsors, or any other organization, for any purpose.

Commitment to Data Security
Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only two persons are authorized to access membership data and mailing lists. In addition, all emails and newsletters from the PCI Knowledge Base have a clearly marked “opt out” option.
